  1. είμαι (íme) – to be
  2. έχω (ého) – to have
  3. κάνω (káno) – to do, to make
  4. λέω (léo) – to say, to tell
  5. βλέπω (vlépo) – to see
  6. πηγαίνω (piyéno) – to go
  7. πάω (páo) – to go
  8. έρχομαι (érhome) – to come
  9. θέλω (thélo) – to want
  10. ξέρω (xéro) – to know
