📚 What are Γ1 & Γ2 verbs?
In Greek, verbs ending in -ομαι are called Γ1 verbs and verbs ending in -αμαι are called Γ2 verbs!
➡️ Γ1 verbs
– like έρχομαι (I come), σκέφτομαι (I think), ντύνομαι (get dressed), ντρέπομαι (I’m shy)
➡️ Γ2 verbs
– like κοιμάμαι (I sleep), λυπάμαι (I’m sorry/sad)” φοβάμαι (I’m afraid), θυμάμαι (I remember)
By the way these four Γ2 verbs are the only 4 Γ2 verbs that exist in Greek! No more! Let’s see how they work! 💪
