Tip #1
Have this in mind!
100 is εκατό and 101 is εκατόν ένα.
You need to add the -ν for one hundred and something!
Note that in Greek, when we say 101 or one hundred and anything, we will say it like … one hundred one, one hundred two, one hundred ten. We won’t say the word “and”.

Tip #2
Also, another thing is that, in English, one hundred is two words, but in Greek one hundred is one word (εκατό). Saying “ένα εκατό” is wrong!
For example:
101 – εκατόν ένα
110 – εκατόν δέκα
132 – εκατόν τριάντα δύο
199 – εκατόν ενενήντα εννιά
So keep in mind that 100 – εκατό (without ν) is only used when we say one hundred exactly. For all the rest (one hundred and something), we will use the ν – 101 εκατόν ένα.
For example:
101 – εκατόν ένα
110 – εκατόν δέκα
132 – εκατόν τριάντα δύο
199 – εκατόν ενενήντα εννιά

Numbers 200-900 in Greek
And then we reach the hundreds, from 200 to 900.
For that list we will use the pattern -ακόσια.
For example,
2 – δύο, 200 – διακόσια
3 – τρία, 300 – τριακόσια
5 – πέντε, 500 – πεντακόσια
6 – έξι, 600 – εξακόσια
Let’s see the whole list here.
200 – διακόσια
300 – τριακόσια
400 – τετρακόσια
500 – πεντακόσια
600 – εξακόσια
700 – εφτακόσια
800 – οχτακόσια
900 – εννιακόσια
The sound changes only in the number 400. (4 – τέσσερα, 400 – τετρακόσια).
Be careful with that!

Numbers 1.000-1.000.000 in Greek
Next we’ll go to one thousand. In English one thousand is two words, but in Greek it’s one word – χίλια.
Saying ένα χίλια is wrong!
1.000 – χίλια
1.011 – χίλια έντεκα
1.111 – χίλια εκατόν έντεκα
The word χίλια is only used when it’s exactly 1000. If it’s 2000 and more we will use the word χιλιάδες.
2.000 – δύο χιλιάδες
3.000 – τρεις χιλιάδες
4.000 – τέσσερις χιλιάδες
5.000 – πέντε χιλιάδες
6.000 – έξι χιλιάδες
Finally, the word million is εκατομμύριο 1.000.000 – ένα εκατομμύριο
1.000 – χίλια
1.011 – χίλια έντεκα
1.111 – χίλια εκατόν έντεκα
The word χίλια is only used when it’s exactly 1000. If it’s 2000 and more we will use the word χιλιάδες.

6.000 – έξι χιλιάδες
